Behavior Change Blog
My name is jose and I am a psychology student; I created this blog so that I might have a means to get some feedback on a project I am working on. Throgh this project, I will attempt to change some aspects of my behavior that I find undesirable. Specifically, I have become a bit lazy due to an injury I suffered a few months ago and so I want to begin exercising more often. I will use the principles of operant conditioning in order to do this.

Hi Jose, I am terrible about working out. But when I did workout, I found having a friend workout with me was very motivating, and it was easier to stick to a schedule. Good luck with your goal! Lisa
Hey Jose may I ask what injury it was? If it's still bothering you, it's best to take baby steps back to health rather than jumpin right into a full work-out.
Hey Jose, i'm kind of in your same position i had surgery not to long ago and its kind of difficult to get back into the swing of things. but josh is right, you should def take baby steps because i ended up making my condition worse by lifting heavy weights, so try and keep to light weights, it might be embarrassing but remember its not about how much you lift but the results of how you lift!
I'm glad that you won't use an injury as an excuse to stay lazy. I agree with Josh and Ray in that you should be careful and take the proper precautions before you worsen your condition. Good luck! =]
